KICK Performing ARTS

We were very flattered to be nominated for a Queensland Week Award for Local Business Achievement. We are very proud of our school, now entering it's  20th year, and thank all of you for your support of us and trust in us to teach your lovely children.  It is always a blessing when you can combine your work and your passion.

Principal - Charmaine Paddick
(RAD CBTS, TCRG, Professional Dancer)

The Musical Theatre world demands performers be able to dance, sing and act. Kick Dance has excelled in the teaching of dance producing high quality, well trained professionals. Now, due to growing demand and the passion and experience of long time Kick partner Charmaine Paddick, we are proud to offer KICK ARTS - a Performing Arts Program designed to teach the range of specialist skills needed to enhance and direct students interested in Musical Theatre.

With extensive experience as a choreographer and a long career as a professional dancer, Charmaine Paddick heads a team of qualified, experienced specialist teachers.


Natasha Veselinovic
has been heavily involved in the arts since 12 years of age. Natasha is a Griffith University Applied Theatre Graduate, who is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music, Majoring in Musical Theatre at the Queensland Conservatorium. She has extensive knowledge of both singing and acting, having trained, and worked as a performer both in Brisbane and England.

Kate Muntz is one of the original Kick babies and after 9 years of working professionally overseas, she has come home to Brisbane and is returning to Kick Arts to share her knowledge of the industry. Kate trained with Kick until she left Queensland to attend full time training at The Edge in Melbourne. There, she completed her Certificate III in Dance Performance. After performing professionally around Brisbane including being part of the Broncos & Bullets cheer squads in 2005, she landed her first contract with Carnival Cruise Lines. Over the 9 years working for CCL Kate was cast to perform in many brand new original productions for the company, became Dance Captain in 2009 & most recently has been working alongside John Tartaglia (Original Broadway cast of Avenue Q) & Michael Shawn Lewis (Gables Grove Productions, NYC) to install a brand new children's show around the Carnival fleet. Now back in Brisbane to find her "land legs", Kate is excited to be back at Kick where she learnt the skills necessary to have a lasting professional career in the Entertainment industry.

Chloe-Rose Taylor started performing at the young age of three. Beginning her training in Jazz, Tap and Lyrical dance, Chloe holds an Advanced Diploma in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance (ADPI) and is a recent graduate of the Conservatorium of Music’s Bachelor of Musical Theatre Program.

Nadia Vanek is an all round artist, specialising in musical theatre, dance, contemporary voice and instrumental performance (flute). She has studied ballet, pointe, contemporary, classical and commercial jazz along with completing her grade 8 in SFD Tap. Over the last five years, she has toured interstate and internationally as a children’s performer and facilitator, performed in a variety of live shows across Brisbane and released an album. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Applied Theatre and is currently working as an intern radio journalist, whilst completing her AMOS grade in flute.
